As you may have gathered from the picture above, this book is geared more towards a younger audience- but as I may have mentioned before, I’ll read almost anything. Especially if it involves mysteries. From looking online- it looks like it was written for middle school aged kids.

It’s a story about siblings with the last name Sherlock (Alex and his sister Zoe) who decided to open a detective agency over summer break with their friends Lina and Yadi. Alex and Zoe’s retired journalist grandfather decides to help to keep an eye on them and teach them how to investigate and be their driver.

For their first case, they decide to try to solve the decades old case of missing treasure belonging to a mafia man, supposedly hidden in their hometown of Miami. But not too long after they start, they discover another mystery more urgent and that they would be more likely to solve, but I won’t spoil the book with the details of that case.

It was a quick and enjoyable book to read with plenty of humor, and lessons in how to investigate, how to research, how to ask questions. I think this book would be good for anyone who likes mysteries and quick books.
