This is a crazy documentary I saw this past weekend. Cathy had a baby girl named Alexis that was born in the 1970s when Cathy was very young. Her mother convinces her to give up the baby for adoption, and she painfully agrees to do when the baby is about six months ago.

Decades go by, and then one day, she gets a letter informing her that police had an unidentified body that they think could be the girl she gave up years ago, but they needed her DNA to check. It would ultimately be revealed that her DNA was not a match to the body. However, Cathy is shocked to learn that the girl (who was named Aundria after she was adopted), had gone missing 21 years earlier in 1989 at the age 14. She becomes obsessed with the disappearance and determined to find her daughter. And this documentary is basically the story of that investigation.

There are plenty of twists that are revealed throughout the 2-part documentary. I think it was a very well-done documentary that kept me watching, wanting to know what happened next. For these of you who like documentaries- I recommend this one!
