Gru and his hilarious bunch of minions are back, along with his family: Wife Lucy, daughters Margo, Edith, and Agnes–and a new family member, baby Gru Jr!

This time around, a villain he captured, Maxime Le Mai has escaped prison and has vowed revenge on Gru and his family. So Gru and his family are basically forced to be relocated to a different city and given new identities (basically like the Witness Protection Program). The movie alternates between the family trying to adjust to their new life and Maxime’s search for them.

In all, it was a fairly ok movie- predictable at times- doesn’t quite meet the level of the original. But it still entertains. and there are a few funny moments that made me laugh. So I say, maybe check it out – if you are into animation films.
