This is a sea movie starring ONLY Robert Redford. And he has no name. He is simply a man who took his sailboat out to sea in the Indian Ocean and has a collision with a shipping container leaving him with a damaged sailboat and stranded at sea. It is a movie that runs an hour and forty-six minutes, with very little dialogue, and consists of Redford trying to survive an obstacle after obstacle.

I watched this movie some months ago, and it kind of reminded me of the movie Cast Away with Tom Hanks, except with much less talking. Some of you will probably not like this movie because of the lack of dialogue. Some of you would probably fall asleep at some point while watching this movie. But if you are a person who can appreciate how a movie is made, and how the movie turns out, and you are able to watch this movie in its entirety, you might like this movie like I did.

I probably would not watch it again, as it is long and can feel exhausting to watch. But the one time I watched it, I did enjoy it for the realism of it, the intense moments, the frustrating moments, and the happy moments. Robert Redford as always is great at acting, and he did a great job here.

Long story short, maybe you will like it, and maybe you won’t. But feel free to comment your thoughts if you watched it and have any!
