This is a comedy directed by Shawn Levy about Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson), two middled aged unemployed men who trick their way into a competitive internship program for college students at Google with a shot at full time employment at the end of the internship program.

I watched it this past weekend, even though I have seen it several times before, although not in a while, and I was reminded of why I liked this movie. When you hear that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are together in a movie, you might think it’s going to be an overly raunchy slapstick movie flick like some of their films together are- (there is an extended raunchy scene involving a strip club), but aside from that, the movie is actually pretty free of raunchiness and slapstick comedy. It instead focuses more on Billy/Nick teaching the college kids to have a life/fun outside of work, and the kids teaching Billy/Nick to grow up and take work seriously.

Max Minghella also did a great job as Graham, the “villain” college kid who is bent on getting Billy and Nick kicked out of Google. Rose Byrne plays Dana (a google employee for whom Nick falls for).

In all, it’s a great comedy with life lessons. If you haven’t seen it, you might want to check it out!
