This is a sci fi thriller I read a few months ago that takes place all the way out in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. The story starts with an oil platform, where they are drilling far down below under the water, and one day they make a startling discovery. Oil operations are suddenly shut down. The US military mysteriously takes over control of the platform.

Fast forward to sometime later, former naval doctor Peter Crane is mysteriously asked to come to the platform without fully knowing why he is being requested. After being sworn to secrecy, Dr. Crane learns that certain personnel down below are popping up with strange and random illnesses, and he is tasked to find out the cause. Now, i won’t reveal any more than that as not to spoil this book for anyone.

But it’s a great intense book filled with drama, mystery, personal agendas and science fiction. Sorry this post is short, but there’s not a ton I can really say about this one, other than I liked it! Check it out if it sounds like your thing!
