This is a fun and short game for 2 to 6 players. I have played this with friends and family. The goal of the game is to collect as much treasure as you can. The first player to get 50 points in treasures wins the game.

The set up is this- There are 9 cities laid out on the table, and there is an airship, and all players in the game are riding on the same ship. Each player takes turns being the captain (one player plays the captain in the first round, next player plays the captain in round 2 and so on).

Each player is dealt a number of cards, and how many cards depends on how many players are playing. The players and the ship start at the first city (as the game progresses, you want to go to the furthest city as possible, as each city has bigger treasures than the city before it). Each round, whoever is the captain in that round controls the ship- he or she will roll the dice to determine the challenges the ship is facing in that round. It could be clouds, it could be lightning, it could be a flock of birds attempting to attack the ship.

At that point, only the captain knows if he/she has the cards needed to overcome these challenges, and the rest of the players will need to guess whether they think the captain will be successful or not. If they think the captain will be successful, they can choose to stay on the ship. If they think the captain won’t be successful, they can abandon the ship at whatever city they are at and settle for the treasures of that city for that round. But if they are wrong, and the ship does not crash, and continues to the next city, these players who abandoned ship will not be able to continue the journey, only these who stayed on board will. The round ends either if the ship crashes, or if the ship reaches the 9th city.

Once the round ends, the ship returns to the 1st city, and everybody gets back on board, and the next player becomes the captain- and this process continues until someone reaches 50 points worth in treasure and wins the game. It’s a fun and quick game- the box says an average of 30 minutes, and i think that’s pretty accurate. Friends and family, if you ever want to play this, let me know, I am down to play again!
