This was a popular drama series about a football team and their lives on the field and off the field in the fictional football obsessed town of Dillon, Texas. It starts with Coach Eric Taylor (played by Kyle Chandler) being picked as the new coach of the high school team over the popular choice, upsetting the town. Actors like Taylor Kitsch, Zach Gilford, Jesse Plemmons arguably become more well known after doing this show. I’m not a huge football & sports follower, except for watching the Minnesota Vikings play-(SKOL!), but even the football scenes in the show draws me in. The show lasted 5 seasons, and it left me wanting more- even though they did have a complete ending. The cinematic style that they used was also well done. I recommend checking this show out if you haven’t yet!
